HOW LONG WILL YOU WAVER BETWEEN TWO OPINIONS

I just want to say thank you for reading this blog! We are so blessed to know you will be impacted by this. I hope you read it until the very end. Enjoy!

The first series we had the HOW I MET JESUS IN COLLEGE was a successful one. We have a lot of positive feedback about that series. Now we decided to have a new series 11:59PM DEADLINE which includes subtopics. I was tasked to write about “LAG”. We all know that having a deadline specifically today's set up of school is that we are going to pass the outputs, assignments and any other stuff in our specific educational platforms online with a deadline. And one of the problems passing these things is having a lag connection.

First of all let’s define lag. According to techterms.com “Lag is a slow response from a computer. It can be used to describe any computer that is responding slower than expected. However, the term is most commonly used in online gaming.” As playing games online myself, sometimes I experience this thing called lag. But, we see lag in a different perspective. According to the Oxford dictionary, lag is defined as “fall behind in movement, progress, or development; not keep pace with another or others.” And In the context of physics “a retardation in an electric current or movement.”

As we analyzed all these definitions, the general idea is being slow. Now let’s talk about life. Sometimes in our life we are lagging, we are slow to improve, to understand the essentials in life and too slow to respond to the call of the Lord. My friend, in a state of being lag or being slow is pretty common for all of us specifically Christians. We are lagging in our decisions because there is something in our hearts that we can’t decide where we should be connected. Our mind has separated opinions! As what Prophet Elijah said to the people of Israel and the followers of Baal:

Elijah went before the people and said, “How long will you waver between two opinions? If the Lord is God, follow him; but if Baal is God, follow him.” But the people said nothing
(1 Kings 18:21 NIV).

How long will you waver between two opinions? If the Lord is God then follow Him! That’s why we are in a “lag or falling behind” situation because we tend to waver on the things that will position us to be distracted from the will of God in our life. I have a question for you, if life gets tough, tell me if these things you consider essential (video games, movies, series, studies, boyfriends or girlfriends, vices, name it all) will rescue you when life hits you hard? How long will you waver my friend? That’s why we lag in our walk with the Lord because we waver on these kinds of things. I am addressing this to the Christians who are reading this.

Decide where you stand. Don’t waver to the things of this world.

Decide to stand for the Lord and never go back to your old life.

I personally experienced wavering two opinions. I even questioned the Lord If I can ever be transformed because I can’t see it in my life. But God is so good! I have been transformed!

Don’t waver upon two opinions! Decide today that you will go all out for the Lord.

To the first timers that haven’t decided yet to accept Jesus in their lives, I have good news for you. You can accept Jesus today, believe me, nothing will ever satisfy you, only Jesus. The bible says anyone who calls upon the name of the Lord shall be saved! My friend, you, the one who is reading this and haven’t accepted Jesus yet. Decide now, because NOW IS THE DAY OF SALVATION. Don’t waver your opinion, thinking of not worthy to receive Him. We are worthy! 1 John 1:9 "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness." Decide now my friend. Message us and be saved now.

Thank you and God bless you.

I hope you have learned and will not waver between two opinions from now on.

Your friend,

Quem.
