Everyone goes through a different season in life. Mapa-kalipay, kaguol, kahadlok ug kasakit!
This story contains where God revealed to me the true meaning of patience.
When the pandemic started, it was intensely challenging for me to shift from face-to-face to online classes, especially since our internet is not that stable. As the school year continued— I was unaware that I was too preoccupied with my future, “na murag gadali ko sa tanan.”
I became so stressed and sensitive to everything. It came to the point that I did not eat anything unless all of my requirements were completed— which caused me to lose weight. That was when I realized I was making myself too vulnerable to negative thoughts, which led to negative actions. I was going through a stressful period that was causing me more problems and trouble just because I’m in a hurry when there was no need to hurry.
God made me realize that even when things don't go as planned, his Hand is on me. When difficulties arise and temp to be upset, I remind myself of His promises. Believe that God is working behind the scenes to guarantee and guide you to the blessed life He has prepared for you.
The problem didn’t come to stay; it came to pass, and so as the season. Every season is a lesson! It teaches us something that will live on in our hearts forever.
I don’t know when it will happen, but I know. God knows what’s best for me. Whenever I am in a hurry, I always remember my life verse: “When the time is right, I the Lord will make it happen.” Isaiah 60:22.
When you feel anxious, I desire— and pray that your heart is 'STILL' amid all the troubles and difficulties. Always remember God’s patience that he has given to us.
