Have you ever dream of doing greater things?
Or being inspired by the stories of greatness?
Greatness is not superiority, it‘s genuineness. It is not a power but an honor, not a destiny but a decision and it is not idolatry but one’s true identity. It could be simple or complex yet meaningful.
There are a lot of stories about greatness but Jesus dying on the cross to save us was my favorite (John 3:16). This story about greatness is the greatest of all. Why? It’s because if He didn’t do it for us, no one else can. No one is ever born as great as Jesus. No one is ever qualified to redeem us from our sins except Him. His greatness is incomparable and lasting.
If you want to be part of the story of greatness, you should be a soldier of the great King. Be His mighty warrior like Gideon (Judges 6:12). I want you to know that you are not just “you”; there is greatness inside of you. A potential energy that is stored inside of you and just waiting to be released. But remember that greatness is not a destiny, it is a decision. You have the choice and the freewill of which path you will take.
My friend, don’t just be a witness of greatness but be part of it. Don’t settle for less when you are called to do great. You are born to be great because you are created in the likeness of your creator (Genesis 1:26). And that creator is the greatest of all the greatest. And He expects you to do greater things, not just to make a living but to live a meaningful and purposeful life. Jesus said, “Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father” (John 14:12).
“The goal in this life is not just achieving your dreams, getting married, having children and to live happily ever after. That is fiction, a fairy tale.”
Yes, it is part of life, a season yet not the end goal. The sole purpose of our existence is God. The end goal is God. Whatever season we are in, our goal should be to get to know God and to be closer to Him. The more we get to know God, the more we are close in determining the real us, where our real identity lies.
True greatness is being a servant of God. The moment we’ve seen the greatness of God into our lives, we became an instrument for others to see the greatness of God in their own lives too, and to make them realize the greatness of their potential that lies inside of them.
“Greater is He who lives in me than who is in the world”, (1John 4:4).
As we partake in the great commission, we become a part of the story of greatness. We should not let the story of God’s greatness of dying in the cross for you and for the many remains a story. It should become a life - active and continually changing people’s lives.
I challenge you my friend, to come out of your comfort zone and decide to be part of that story of greatness. If you are interested and have been convicted to do greater things and be part of that great commission, just message us!
