God wants each of us to experience a life that has meaning, direction, love and peace. God makes this kind of life possible through a personal relationship with his Son, Jesus Christ. But before you accept Jesus as your savior, here are five truths that will help you understand God's desire for you:
1. God has a plan for your life. Always remember that you are created by God. He knows you even before you were born. He has good plans for you. He wants to mold you, strengthen you, and he will help you become more like Him. To know those plans, what you must do first is to know Him personally.
2. God's plan gives meaning. There are so many things that people strive in life. Sometimes, they strive to be famous, to be rich, to be beautiful, to be eloquent and to be something else. Many people seek meaning and purpose of their lives. But they never find it because they look for meaning and purpose on the wrong things and the wrong people. When you follow God's plans for your life, the most important of which is to know Jesus as your Lord and Savior, you will find meaning and purpose in all that you do.
3. God's plan gives direction. If you will not seek God's direction, you may not know what to do in your life. You may try a lot of things, hoping to find meaning in each one. But if you have God in your life, he will lead you and show you how to make your life count for Him and His Kingdom.
4. God's plan brings peace. When you follow Jesus as your Lord and savior, you will be at peace with God. You will also be filled with God's peace. So when troubles come, you will be able to have peace as you endure hardships.
5. God's plan for you is to live with him in heaven. Guilt and sins are what is separating us with God. We became so ashamed with what we have done. We are all sinners but God sacrificed his one and only son for us to be saved. Let us all believe that we are already saved. Let us have a peace that only God can give. That whatever setbacks, whatever guilt, whatever sins that we have in the past, we should always look back to what Jesus did on the cross. Repent, for it is not too late to ask the Lord for forgiveness. Turn away from your sins. Go and sin no more!
God wants each of us to experience a life that has meaning, direction, love and peace.
