Hi fam! This blog has been all about how I understood my life’s purposes. I hope that you will have fun learning and receiving. Have a great read!
Many times we find ourselves in situations wherein everything seems to be out of control, as if life is stuck in an endless cycle. But I want you to understand that there is a life out there that is beyond amazing, a life that makes perfect sense- a path of seeking the One we truly serve and the Man who paid our sins. That Man is the name above all names and the King of all kings, our Lord Jesus Christ.
A year ago, I was in a situation where I thought I had no limits. I engaged in negativity and followed worldly trends. Indulging in things that led me into senseless addictions like drinking alcohol, playing online games, and surrounding myself with people who had no dreams at all has been my daily life. Then, I found myself feeling empty. Observing and experiencing all these things first hand made me realize it was a trap for me, a bad one.
I don’t tell this to judge the world and its people, but may my realization allow you to recognize that what I have lived by, and if it is the way of your life right now, it's a purposeless way of life.
Walay pulos ang kinabuhi pag way tumong. There is a way of living that is more satisfying.
If you want to know what this kind of life is, first, ask yourself these questions:
Who are you?
Why are you living?
Why are you here?
Why do you exist?
What is your purpose here?
And, may this verse speak into your reality.
Jeremiah 29:11 says, "For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."
Along with this verse, may you always remember that you are designed to be loved, you are designed to be aware, you are designed to become His asset, you are designed to know Him, and you deserve to be set free. God has purposed you for this.
Let's strive to be aware as to who we are in the Lord and also strive to restore purity in our deepest selves. This way, we can be people who live with joy, gladness, peace, and purpose. Instead of engaging in meaningless habits, we must be practical in aligning our actions with the calling God gave us. Don't settle anymore on having a worldly mindset.
Remember that a life without purpose is lifeless.
Now, I challenge you to start seeking your purpose. Let's aim for more because there is more to see in life. Knowing the Lord and understanding your purpose is the first step to truly discovering who you are. It might be so unimaginable that I've lived a life with no direction. But now that I've turned to Him, believe it or not, my life is full of delight and purpose.
As Matthew 7:7 says, Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and the door will be opened to you, may you be reminded that you are not just an ordinary person. There is something in you. Know that you have potential. Know that He is living in you.
Ayaw na’g hulat sa mga nindot nga butang, sugdi na’g tikang. He is waiting for you to come back. He is knocking on your heart. He is eager to introduce the greatest of things to you. He is excited about your journey.
After you read this, may this prayer resonate in your heart.
Heavenly Father, thank You for Your goodness. Thank You for this life. Thank You for Your love and mercy. I’m pleading unto You, Lord, to guide me in seeking You. I can't do it alone, but through you, Father, I am able. Help me to recognize my purpose and follow You throughout my life. In Jesus’s name, Amen.
