MAKE THE MOST OUT OF IT!

What does it feel to be given a second chance?

Do you really believe everyone deserves a second chance?

And if you will be given a chance by someone what are you going to do with it?

I believe that you're gonna make the most out of it!

When we say "Second Chances" whether we are talking about our worldly relationships with one another, maybe it is about our academic aspect, or maybe it is about our relationship with God. Also, second chances are extended gratification by God or among people. When it comes to people, we sometimes grant second chances to them because we believe that they’re capable of realizing the mistakes they have made before. But when God gives us second chances, it’s limitless. It’s His grace in a form of chances. He keeps on waiting for us to find our way back home again.

God is a God of chances.

I know there are times we think to ourselves, we do not deserve God or Him to us, or sometimes we think that we are so sinful so it is impossible for us to receive forgiveness from Him. But NO! It's a false assumption.

The fact is, we all fail.

We do things we regret.

We say things we deplore.

And we hurt people we love.

But we’re not alone in this. When we read the Bible, there are a lot of people that were given a second chance by God.

Noah was found drunk by his sons.

Moses murdered an Egyptian.

David hired someone for murder and committed adultery.

And the tax collector who overtaxed people out of personal greed.

These are some of the individuals whom God gave a second chance and I believe you know them. They made a mistake yet, in spite of their illegal and immoral behavior, God gave them a second chance. They were repentant and went on to be faithful servants of God.

Now, if you feel like what you did from the past is such a big mistake that disqualifies you to go back to Him, just remember how great is His' love for us. What Jesus did on the cross is the greatest form of love. It is not one more chance to be good, but Jesus Christ came and died to pay the penalty of our failures 2000 years ago and if we receive Him, His record becomes our record too.

So stop thinking that you are not qualified. Jesus did not call the qualified, but He qualifies the call. Come back to Him now just as Noah, Moses, David, and the tax collector did. You still have time to do it.

“Every day that we are able to wake up is a chance for us to go back to our first love- which is Jesus. Every day is an extension and opportunity for us to repent and surrender our lives to Him. Do not miss it! Do not wait until the chances that were given to you will be over soon. Take and use every chance today because tomorrow might be too late.”
